Civil War: Behind the Scenes
Much of our war history curriculum focuses on the military leaders, strategies, and engagements during the Civil War. But, what was life like for people who were not doing the fighting? This four-day project will aim to explore the experiences of private citizens who were not on the battlefields. Some of our case studies are famous, but mostly they are people whose names you will not recognize.
